The South Carolina Department of Social Services (SCDSS) has formed a partnership with SC State University and six other colleges and universities in the state to recruit, educate, and prepare BSW and MSW students for public child welfare practice. Scholars are obligated to work in a child welfare agency in South Carolina for two years following graduation.
