It is the mission of the South Carolina State University Police Department to provide a safe campus conducive to education for all who learn, teach, work, and visit South Carolina State University. This mission is accomplished through the University’s vision of education, student success and public service. The South Carolina State University Police Department enforces all South Carolina Statutes & Municipal Ordinances. We also educate the community on safety and risk avoidance to accomplish this mission.
