Course Description

We would all like our students to "think more critically," but what does that really mean? In this session we will discuss a model of critical thinking, investigate what critical thinking really means, and how it can be demonstrated by students. We will look at several additional issues related to critical thinking during this session, such as how to ask questions the prompt more critical thinking, how to help students think more critically when looking at online resources, and the importance of reflection in the critical thinking process.
