Course Description

It is important to know that there are federal and state laws associated with many of the personnel decisions that you make as managers. In order to ensure that you are applying the principle of the laws correctly, we will review and discuss the following: Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Americans with Disability Act (ADA), Equal Pay Act, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA), and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
