Course Description
Clear descriptions of course and assignment expectations have been shown to improve achievement. This session looks at rubrics and takes a hands-on constructivist approach as it engages participants in the formation of a rubric that, itself, assesses the quality, effectiveness and design of rubrics. Come with an assignment in mind and leave with an idea of how to create a clear description and grading rubric that will point the way towards quality products and enhanced learning by your students and ease your grading and guiding responsibilities.
