There is a good deal of evidence about strategies specifically related to student learning at the university level. This interactive session is designed to give attendees evidence about how students learn, show methods to get students involved, and demonstrate relevant applications from pedagogical research. The primary focus of this session is to provide information and strategies that you can share with your students to help them to better learn the material in your course. Topics include the value of taking notes, making flash cards, underlining material when reading, and taking practice tests.
