Course Description

During this session we will experience and reflect on a sample University 101 session; discuss and consider opportunities and challenges associated with teaching University 101 as shared by experienced faculty (most challenging concepts, classroom management, student civility, classroom community building); Brainstorm and co-create an expanded checklist prioritizing what University 101 Learners should learn and accomplish (referencing syllabus and course schedule); Discuss course assessment strategies and issues and consider assessment development options.
