Tucker Hipps Transparency Act

In accordance with the Tucker Hipps Transparency Act, South Carolina State University publishes a report that provides actual findings of incidents involving student organization conduct for violations of alcohol, drugs, sexual assault, physical assault, and hazing. The report contains the name of the organization, the date of the incident, date of charges, date of investigation and resolution; and a general description of the incident and subsequent charges, findings, and sanctions placed on the organization. The report covers organization conduct data beginning after December 31, 2012.

Additional information regarding the completion of organizations sanctions, findings and outcomes may be available. Pursuant to the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act, additional information not protected by the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act is available by contacting the Vice President of Student Affairs Office at 803-536-8103.
