Reminder: No parking on Geathers Street near Engineering & Computer Science Complex

ORANGEBURG, S.C. – South Carolina State University reminds students, employees and visitors that parking is prohibited around the construction zone for the university’s new academic building.

This includes the area in front of and adjacent to the Engineering & Computer Science Complex along Geathers Street. The zone runs from Hodge Hall and the Student Center Plaza to the I.P. Stanback Museum & Planetarium.

The zone must remain clear to allow construction vehicles to enter and exit the academic building site.

Improperly parked vehicles are subject to ticketing and/or towing.
