Families and friends gathered on the SC State football practice field for SC State Public Service & Agriculture's 3rd-annual Ag and Land-Grant Week ag showcase — the finale of a week of events, Sept. 9-13, honoring the university’s land-grant mission and spotlighting the strength of agriculture, South Carolina’s leading industry.

The family-friendly afternoon featured demonstrations, fresh food, campus tours and hands-on activities showing how agriculture sustains and connects communities. Kids enjoyed horseback rides and face painting. Visitors also explored exhibits from SC State Public Service & Agriculture. The day culminated with the SC State Bulldogs' home football game against Bethune-Cookman.
