Photos: SC State senior leaders serve up gratitude to behind-the-scenes teams

South Carolina State University President Alexander Conyers, his office personnel and members of the President's Cabinet lined up Sept. 5 to serve lunch to maintenance, public safety and finance employees, offering a heartfelt thank-you for the quiet, steady work these teams do to keep the university moving forward.

The Cabinet — senior leaders in Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, Fundraising, Information Technology, Facilities, Finance/Operations, the General Counsel's Office, and Public Service and Agriculture — traded boardroom decisions for serving spoons, proving leaders aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. The luncheon took place in the newly remodeled Kirkland W. Green Student Center's Bulldog Lounge.
